Designer handbags, shoes and jewellery have been seized during a search at a house in Hoo after a woman was arrested on suspicion of drugs offences.

The property in Miskin Road was searched on Saturday 8 October 2022 after officers from Medway’s Community Policing Team arrested the 22-year-old woman.

Following reports of drug dealing in the area officers were patrolling in Hoo, alongside dog handler PC Scott James, when he stopped a vehicle at 5.25pm.

They searched the car and found 13 bags of cocaine, 17 bags of cannabis, 87 pale blue tablets and a large quantity of cash.

The female driver was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cocaine and possession with intent to supply cannabis.

Following her arrest officers carried out a search of an address where they found further evidence of drug dealing including cocaine purity tests and grinders.

Officers also found a significant number of designer handbags, jewellery and clothes.

The woman has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
