Natalie Elphicke MP raised concerns in Parliament

Responding to the findings of a BBC News report on the Channel crossings, which showed a free French public bus traveling from the migrant camps to the Dunkirk departure beaches, Dover MP, Natalie Elphicke has spoken out.

The MP said: “This important BBC investigation is truly shocking. Alongside the brazen criminality of the people smugglers, it beggars belief that there is a free public bus from the migrant camps to the beach departure points.

“It’s little wonder we are seeing record breaking arrivals coming through the illegal small boats crossings route.

“I have raised this in Parliament and will be asking the Home Secretary to take this up urgently with her French counterparts.”
