Reports of one dead after petrol bombs thrown from car at Dover migrant processing centre

Kent Police confirmed being called at 11.22am on Sunday 30 October 2022 to The Viaduct in Dover where a number of incendiary devices were thrown into a Home Office immigration premises.

Two to three incendiary devices were reported to have been thrown and a third party suffered a minor injury.

Police confirmed they have located the suspect.

Reuters News Agency has reported that the suspect drove to a nearby petrol station where he killed himself.

Dover and Deal MP Natalie Elphicke posted the following on Twitter.

Kent Police say enquiries into the incident remain ongoing and have not confirmed reports that a man killed himself at a nearby petrol station following the incident.
