A suspect has appeared before court charged with offences at Maidstone Hospital.
On Sunday 20 November 2022, a man at the premises in Hermitage Lane is alleged to have acted aggressively towards medical staff.
It is also reported he indecently exposed himself towards a nurse, assaulted her and then damaged a screen. Officers attended and he was arrested.
The suspect was further arrested after it was reported he had been abusive to members of the public in the town centre.
Charged
The man, of no fixed address, was later charged with indecent exposure, assaulting an emergency worker, criminal damage at the hospital, criminal damage to a police vehicle and four public order offences.
The 59-year-old appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 23 November, where he was remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on 21 December.
