The festive fun continues in Dover’s Market Square this Saturday (10 December), with a Christmas-themed Dover Artisan Market, live music and dance, and a visit from Santa and his reindeers.

Join in the festive fun from 10am to 3pm as Dover District Council hosts Santa along with live entertainment with performances from Soundwaves Choir, Eythorne Silver Band, and CJ’s Dance.  There will also be photo opportunities with the elves in Santa’s sleigh.

Why not browse the gifts in the Dover Museum shop where there’s a 10% discount or get creative and have a go at making your own Christmas cards and crackers with the team from the Reawakening the Maison Dieu project.

Don’t forget, there’s free parking* in DDC-owned car parks all day too this Saturday, and every Saturday in December (10, 17, 24 and 31 December)!

Cllr Trevor Bartlett, Leader of Dover District Council, said: “It’s great to see the new-look Market Square come alive this Christmas as a focal point for the local community and visitors to celebrate this special time of year.

“We look forward to welcoming everyone to the Market Square for some festive entertainment as they do their Christmas shopping in the town centre.”
