A suspect has been charged following a burglary at a business in Sheerness.

On Monday 7 November 2022, staff members arrived for work at Holland and Barrett in the High Street to find the premises had been burgled overnight.

They contacted Kent Police to report quantities of protein powder and CBD products had been stolen during a break-in.

Arrest

On Wednesday 7 December a man was arrested by officers from the Swale Victim Based Crime Team.

The suspect from Sheerness was charged with burglary later the same day.

On Thursday 8 December, the 32-year appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court where he was conditionally bailed to a hearing at the same court on 14 February 2023.
