Witnesses are being sought following a violent disturbance in Strood involving four women which led to two of them being assaulted and treated in hospital.

The incident happened in an alleyway near Tamar Drive, on 12 November 2022 shortly after 4pm. It is alleged the two victims were punched, kicked and struck with items including a metal bar.
Police arrived and arrested two women, aged 21 and 26, on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. They are both currently bailed, pending further enquiries, until 9 February 2023.
