On Monday 9 January 2023, Kent Police’s County Lines and Gangs Team searched a business in Upper Stone Street.
Investigators detained two men in the property and they were taken into custody. The officers also seized mobile phones from living accommodation at the premises and at a town centre hotel room.
Charged
Two men from Maidstone and London were later charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and being concerned in the supply of heroin.
The pair aged 41 and 49 appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 11 January, where they were remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on 8 February.
