Between 29 August and 29 December 2022, it’s reported a man entered Waitrose in Sevenoaks High Street on three separate occasions where it is alleged he stole alcohol, electronic toothbrushes and food products valued at more than £1,500.
It is also alleged he went to the supermarket two further times, during the same period, but left empty-handed when he was challenged by a member of staff.
Arrest
On Thursday 5 January 2023, a suspect from Penge was arrested in London.
The male suspect was later charged with three thefts and five counts of breaching a criminal behaviour order.
A 39-year-old man appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday 6 January where he was remanded to a hearing on a date to be confirmed.
