Two suspected shoplifters who allegedly targeted designer stores in Ashford were arrested within 10 minutes of Kent Police being notified.
At 1.47pm on Sunday 22 January 2023 officers received a report that Gucci sunglasses worth around £300 had been stolen from Sunglass Hut at Ashford Designer Outlet.
Two men fitting the description of the suspects were located in a nearby car park and arrested on suspicion of theft.
Clothing allegedly stolen from the Hugo Boss and Nike outlets worth a total of around £600 was also seized by officers.
The arrested men, both in their 20s and from the Canterbury area, have both since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
