The missing bike stolen from garden in West Street

Officers who have arrested a suspected thief are appealing for assistance to find a bike stolen from Faversham.

Between 2.30pm and 2.45pm on 16 January 2023, a child’s cycle that had been specially adapted was stolen from the rear garden of a house in West Street.

On Monday 13 February, a 41-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of theft and taken into custody. He was later bailed to return to the police station on 10 May.

Investigating officer, PC Tim Bond, said: ‘We are very keen to locate and return this unique bike to its young owner.

‘We are urging anyone who has seen the cycle in the photograph or who has been offered one like it for sale, to contact our appeal line.’
