Suspected cocaine supply chain in Tonbridge disrupted after arrest

Proactive patrols in Tonbridge have arrested and charged a suspected drug dealer in connection with a cocaine supply chain.  

A suspect was stopped and searched by plain clothes officers from the town’s Community Policing Team, on Wednesday 15 February 2023 close to the train station.

Enquiries, which included searches at a residential address, led to the seizure of more than 20 street deals of the Class A substance and two mobile phones.  

Charged

A suspect from Tonbridge was detained and taken into custody and later charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply and with being concerned in the supply of drugs.

He was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 16 February.
