On 16 January 2023, constables searching a suspicious vehicle in Dartford seized several items they believed might have been stolen, including two Leoch Lithium ion batteries.
Investigating officer PC Paul Clayton said: ‘We are appealing to anyone who believes the batteries belong to them to call our appeal line. They have unique identifying features, so you will need to produce evidence that the property belongs to you.’

A 36-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft, going equipped to steal, theft, driving without a licence and driving without insurance was later bailed until 17 April.
