Maidstone police received a report that a bike had been stolen from Lockmeadow, after it had been left secure with a chain and lock on Monday 27 February 2023.
Officers were told it was fitted with a tracking device and the bike was thought to be in Penenden Heath.
Cycle recovered
Patrols were immediately deployed to the area and the bike was swiftly recovered from a private garden.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of theft and taken into custody.
He was later bailed to return to the police station on 18 May, pending further investigation into the theft.
