Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to Archers Court Road in Whitfield, near Dover at 5.30pm yesterday, 7 May, to reports of a garage on fire with flames spreading to a house.
Six fire engines attended, and crews brought the fire under control and prevented further fire spread.
KFRS’ volunteer response team also attended to provide support to the occupants, and a man was handed into the care of South East Coast Ambulance paramedics.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
