Two suspects have been arrested by officers investigating a burglary at a shop in Ashford.

Kent Police was called to the town’s High Street at 10.05pm on Wednesday 26 April 2023 following a report two people had broken into a shop.

Officers arrived on the scene and reported a door to the premises had been damaged and fragrances stolen from inside.

A 49-year-old man and 26-year-old man, who are both from the Ashford area, have since been arrested on suspicion of burglary and bailed pending further investigation.

Enquiries by Ashford’s Victim Based Crime Team are ongoing and anyone with any information, or who has been offered the fragrances for sale, should call Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/74934/23.
