A man has been charged and remanded following a series of attacks on nine people across Medway and north Kent.

The accused, of no fixed address, was charged with four counts of wounding with intent, possession of an offensive weapon, assault causing actual bodily harm, three counts of assaulting an emergency worker, common assault, and attempting to cause criminal damage.

The 26-year-old appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 18 May for the offences carried out between 16 January and 7 March. He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Woolwich Crown Court on Thursday 15 June.
