Kent Police investigators have tracked down and arrested a suspected Sevenoaks burglar in London.
On 24 March 2023, Kent Police received a report that a house in the Seal area had been targeted while the occupants were away, and a quantity of jewellery and credit cards had been stolen.
Blood
Detectives from the Kent Crime Squad investigated the incident and recovered some blood at the scene. On Thursday 18 May, they arrested a suspect after locating him at a London address.
Charged
Marielo Cara, from Hounslow, Greater London was later charged with burglary.
Cara, aged 24, was also charged with three counts of burglary in London and two in Hertfordshire.
He pleaded guilty at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Friday 19 May and has been remanded to be sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court, on a date to be confirmed.
