A man is to appear in court charged with concealing criminal property after £750,000 in cash was found in the back of a van in Folkestone.
The money was discovered on Tuesday 6 June 2023 following a search of the van at the Channel Tunnel at around 1.30am.
The 48-year-old of no fixed address was arrested and later charged with attempting to conceal and remove criminal property.
He was remanded in custody and was due to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 7 June 2023.
