Do you care about the future of our planet? If so, you might be interested in Stonestreet Green Solar, a new project that aims to harness the power of the sun and provide clean energy for the UK.
EPL 001 Limited (EPL 001) is carrying out the second round of the Statutory Consultation from 12 June to 17 July 2023.
Stonestreet Green Solar is a proposed solar farm with on-site energy storage and underground cables, located on land at Aldington near Ashford in Kent. It will have a capacity of up to 99.9 MW, enough to power tens of thousands of homes and businesses. It will also help the UK achieve its net zero target by 2050, by saving around 34,500 tonnes of carbon emissions every year.
But before the project can go ahead, we need your feedback.
