Canterbury City Council’s annual gardening competition for council housing tenants is now open for entries.

From glorious gardens to beautiful baskets, the council in Canterbury is on the lookout for the very best blooms that brighten up the district.

There are four categories to enter – front garden, back garden, communal/community garden and containers, pots and baskets.

All entries will be judged and the winners will be announced at a prize giving in August. The winner of each category receives £100 and the runner up £50.

The council thanks Swale Heating, Mears, Canenco, Town & Country and VPro Solutions for sponsoring the competition.

For more information and to enter, go to the website or call us on 01227 862000.
