Detectives are investigating after a teenage boy reported being attacked a group of children in Canterbury.

The 15-year-old victim was walking on his own in a field in Thanington Road, near to a community centre, on 19 June 2023 at around 7pm.

He reported being approached by a group of other children who hit him multiple times. One of the suspects is said to have a cast on his leg and in some instances it is alleged the group used a crutch to inflict head injuries, which required hospital treatment.

The victim managed to get help at the local community centre and the assault was reported to Kent Police.
