The 22-year-old was on his way home from a night out when he was confronted by the group in Kent Road at about 3am on Sunday 11 June 2023.

The attackers, who reportedly didn’t know the victim, punched him in the face repeatedly and hit him on the back of the head with an object thought to be a gas cannister.

He was taken to a London hospital where he is still being treated.

The suspects are described as two white men wearing dark tracksuit bottoms.

One of them had a dark coat with the hood up and white trainers. The other had a black hat with a yellow and red logo, a black jacket and a white t-shirt.
