A man in his 50s was found dead on a roadside grass verge in Gillingham on Thursday night, and police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The man, who was local to the area, was discovered on Lower Twydall Lane, north of the railway line, just before 11.30pm on 13 July 2023. His family has been notified, but the cause of his death remains unclear.

Detectives want to speak to anyone who may have seen the man before he died. He was white, had a beard, and wore a blue t-shirt, grey shorts, and white trainers.
