It has been announced that ongoing work to maintain and improve the highway network Kent County Council will be resurfacing Aerodrome Road, Hawkinge, from Elvington Lane to Haven Drive.
The work will start on Monday, August 1, 2023 and last for four days.
The working hours will be from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm but should the work be delayed by bad weather, residents will will notified of the new dates by letter and by signs along the road.
For the safety of the public and the workers, Aerodrome Road will be closed completely during the work.
A diversion route will be signposted via Elvington Lane, Gibraltar Lane, Crete Road West, Canterbury Road, and Spitfire Way.
