Kent Police is investigating a suspicious incident which was reported to have taken part in Victoria Park, Ashford at around 4.30pm on Tuesday 25 July 2023.
It was reported that a child was playing in the park when she was approached by a man who held her by her arms and started taking pictures of her. The child’s mother was able to intervene and take the little girl away. The man then left the area.
Officers attended the scene and carried out a search of the park and surrounding area.
Enquiries are continuing into the incident.
