A man has been charged with grievous bodily harm and threatening with a weapon after a serious assault in Gravesend.
The incident happened in New Road at around 3.36am on Sunday 6 August 2023, where a man suffered a cut and was taken to hospital.
Police arrested a suspect later that day in King Street and charged him on Monday.
A man aged 25 from Gravesend was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 8 August.
Two other men were also arrested in connection with the assault, but one was released without charge and the other was bailed until November.
Police are appealing for witnesses, dashcam and CCTV footage to help with their investigation.
