Person cut free from upturned vehicle near Aldi supermarket in Canterbury

Kent Fire and Rescue Service have rescued a person from an upturned vehicle on Wednesday evening (16 August) near to the Aldi Supermarket at St Andrews Close, Canterbury.

Together with paramedics and Kent Police one person was been cut free from their vehicle following a crash which left the vehicle on its roof.

Firefighters stabilised the vehicle before using hydraulic rescue equipment to create space for paramedics to assess the casualty.

The casualty was then rushed to hospital by ambulance for further treatment.
