Officers investigating a report of a sexual assault in Folkestone have issued images of a person they would like to identify.

It was reported that at around 7.50pm on Sunday 4 June 2023, a woman was shopping in a store when she was touched inappropriately over clothing as a male walked past her.

The woman challenged the offender who left the store.

The incident took place in Tesco Express in Foord Road.

DS Rachel Seymour said: ‘Having completed several lines of enquiry, we would now like to identify and speak to this person pictured as he may have information which could assist the investigation.’
