Following an investigation by the Kent Crime Squad into reports of cash and gold jewellery stolen from properties between 18 June and 12 July 2023, police have charged a third man.

Detectives investigated burglaries in Margate, Ramsgate, Broadstairs and London.

A man aged 33, from Harlow (Essex) was charged on Thursday 17 August with conspiracy to commit burglaries. He appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court the following day. He was released on bail to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on a date to be confirmed.

Two men aged 33 and 38 were previously charged on 16 August as part of the case. They will appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 18 September.
