Two people have been charged with carrying out a serious assault in Dover.
Kent Police was called to a report of people fighting in Folkestone Road at 1.25am on Monday 4 September 2023.
Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and an air ambulance flew a man to a London hospital with an injury consistent with a stab wound. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Following enquiries by local officers and East Kent CID, two teenage boys were arrested in relation to the incident later the same day.
A 17-year-old boy from the Dover area has since been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, affray and threatening a person with a knife.
A 16-year-old boy, also from the Dover area, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and affray.
Both suspects are due to appear before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 5 September.
