Kent Police along with South East Coast Ambulance Service was called to Lower Boxley Road in Maidstone at 6pm on Monday 11 September 2023, after reports of a suspected stabbing.
A man was treated for injuries consistent with stab wounds and was confirmed dead at the scene shortly after. His next of kin have been informed.
Arrest
An investigation by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate was begun and a woman in her 50s was arrested and taken into custody.
It is understood the suspect and the victim were known to each other.
A cordon remains in place at the scene while enquiries are completed into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
