Two men have been charged with causing grievous bodily harm in Canterbury after a man was assaulted by two people in Station Road East on Friday 29 September 2023.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was taken to a London hospital with an injury consistent with a stab wound. Fortunately, the injury is not believed to be life-threatening.

Two men, both aged 21, and from the city have been charged following an investigation by East Kent CID. They are scheduled to appear before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Monday 2 October.

Kent Police are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident but are appealing for any witnesses yet to speak to detectives to come forward.
