Kent Police was called to a car park near St George’s Place at 6.08pm on Thursday 28 September 2023 following a report of an altercation involving a group of people.

Police attended but the group had dispersed.

An ongoing investigation by East Kent CID has led to six people being arrested on suspicion of violent disorder in relation to the disturbance.
