A suspect has appeared in court after a man reported he had been robbed of his bicycle in Ospringe.
At around midday on Saturday 7 October 2023, a cyclist was pushing his bike in Lower Road when he was approached by another man who is alleged to have threatened to harm the victim before stealing the bike.
Officers subsequently recovered the cycle and a suspect was arrested later the same day in Preston Street, Faversham.
A 23-year-old man from the town was charged with robbery and breaching a criminal behaviour order.
On the following day, he appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court where he was conditionally bailed to a hearing at Canterbury Crown Court on 6 November.
