At around 10.58am on Monday 23 October 2023, a white Mercedes van and an orange DAF lorry were involved in a collision on the Great Chart Bypass in Ashford.
Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service but the van driver, a man in his 30s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The lorry driver was taken to a local hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
