Investigators are appealing for information after four suspects were arrested on suspicion of a robbery in Northfleet.

This incident happened in Wombwell Park, near Mitchell Avenue at around 6.30pm on Tuesday 26 September 2023.

The victim, a teenage boy, was in the park when he was approached by four people known to him.

It is alleged he was assaulted and threatened with a knife before his phone and a vape were stolen. Four suspects, three aged 15 and one 16, were later arrested and subsequently bailed pending further investigation.

PC Charlene LeBorgne, of North Kent CID, said: ‘An investigation is underway into the circumstances and we are urging witnesses or anybody with information to call our appeal line.

‘Residents with private CCTV in the vicinity of the park are also asked to check for relevant footage.’
