Information is being sought after two valuable watches were stolen during a burglary in Faversham.

Detectives are investigating the break-in reported to have happened at an address near London Road, between 1.45pm and 2pm on Tuesday 3 October 2023.

Items stolen included a quantity of cash along with two Omega and Longines watches.

Descriptions

The Omega De Ville watch is described having a white face with a silver frame and a black leather, crocodile skin style strap. The Longines watch is from the ‘Elegant Collection’ with a silver face, frame and strap.

Investigators have been completing enquiries into the incident and are trying to identify two men with dark hooded jackets who were seen nearby. Witnesses who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time of the burglary are urged to get in contact.

They are also appealing to anyone who has seen a person wearing either of the described watches, or who has been offered one for sale, to call our appeal line.

Arrest

A 17-year-old boy from Canterbury was subsequently arrested on 5 October on suspicion of burglary. He has been bailed until 2 January 2024, pending further enquiries.
