According to reports, the Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a field off The Street in Worth, Deal, where a large number of trees were ablaze.

The fire which began yesterday evening spread to nearby stables and outbuildings, creating a dangerous situation.

Four fire engines rushed to the scene and firefighters worked tirelessly to extinguish the flames. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is still unknown, but the heroic efforts of the firefighters prevented it from spreading further.

This morning, Monday, 30 October, Kent Fire and Rescue gave nearby residents the all clear and they were told they no longer needed to close windows and doors.
