CCTV images of three men have been released by detectives investigating an incident in Canterbury.

Kent Police was called to a car park near St George’s Place at 6.08pm on Thursday 28 September 2023 following a report of an altercation involving a group of people seen with weapons. Officers attended but the group had dispersed.

Emergency services were later called to an address in Ashford, where a man reported injuries believed to be linked to the earlier incident. He was taken to a London hospital, from where he was later discharged.

Axe

An ongoing investigation by East Kent CID led to six people being arrested and one man being charged in October with violent disorder and possession of an axe.

Following appeals after the incident, further enquiries have led to the release of CCTV images of three men police have so far been unable to identify.
