Kent Fire and Rescue Service have reported a multi vehicle crash today (3 December) on the A2 near Canterbury.

Crews were called to the A2 coastbound near Canterbury, after reports of a multi-vehicle crash involving nine cars.

Four fire engines attended, and crews used cutting tools to assist SECAmb in freeing a person trapped in one of the vehicles.

Duty of care was taken over by Kent Police.
