Kent County Council (KCC) has introduced an exciting new scheme offering Kent residents, businesses and organisations the opportunity to recycle their unwanted IT equipment and devices.
The scheme covers equipment such as PCs, laptops, printers and mobile phones.
Unwanted and discarded devices contribute to the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) category and are part of the fastest growing type of waste in the UK today.
The Device Recycling Scheme will refurbish and reuse, wherever possible, unwanted equipment supporting communities who need access to devices and hardware.
Specialists will wipe 100% of the data on devices sent in and ensure they are recycled meaning there will be no waste sent to landfill.
We use a specialist process to ensure 100% data-wiping, to the strictest UK legislative standards, with data erasure certification provided.
