Witnesses are being sought after a woman driving with her child in Sittingbourne was threatened by a man who also damaged her car.

The victim’s wing mirror was smashed during the incident, which happened after she had stopped at traffic lights in Eurolink Way.

The woman had been heading towards Sittingbourne Retail Park, at around 6pm on Thursday 30 November 2023, when she initially reported seeing the driver of a black Seat Ibiza acting in an aggressive manner.

It is alleged that as she waited at the junction with Milton Road and The Wall, the man got out of his car and attempted to open her door before he punched a window. He made threats to kill her and then broke the wing mirror.

The victim was travelling with a young child and the suspect is reported to have only left the scene after a woman travelling with him intervened. He is described as white, aged in his 20s, around 6ft tall and with blond curly hair. He wore a thick silver chain covered in diamonds and stones, as well as large gold rings.
