A bedroom fire on Brenchley Close, Ashford, sparked a swift response from three fire crews, South East Coast Ambulance Service and Rapid Response Team volunteers on Christmas Day afternoon.
The fire was extinguished by the firefighters, but one person had to be treated for possible smoke inhalation. No one else was hurt.
Nearby residents received assistance from KFRS’ Volunteer Response Team.
The cause is not yet known.
