Nine crews rush to blaze in Hythe bungalow

Kent Fire and Rescue Service sent seven fire engines, a height vehicle, and a bulk water carrier to the scene of a blaze at a bungalow in West Hythe Road, Hythe today, (4 January 2024).

Crews wearing breathing apparatus fought to put out the flames using hose reel jets and main jets and KFRS’ volunteer response team were also there to give advice and support to affected residents.

No injuries have been reported, and the cause is not yet known but is believed to be accidental.
