A suspected burglar has been charged with multiple offences following break-ins in villages near Canterbury.
Kent Police’s Crime Squad investigation into a series of burglaries in Petham and the surrounding villages at the end of 2023 and the start of 2024 has led to a man being arrested on the evening of Tuesday 9 January.
A 44-year-old has since been charged with five counts of burglary between Thursday 21 December 2023 and Wednesday 3 January 2024.
The suspect, of no fixed address, is due to appear before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday 11 January.
