County fire station robbed while crews rush to emergency call

A fire station in Sheerness has been broken into while crews were out responding to an emergency.

It has been reported the station on the Isle of Sheppey was raided while the crew was out responding to an emergency call just after 8.00pm on Sunday, 21 January.

According to Kent Fire and Rescue Service, personal belongings of firefighters, including a crew member’s bank card, were stolen during the raid.

Kent Police are aware of the incident but it is understood no arrests have been made.
