82-year-old man missing from Reading – Body found in Northfleet

During the afternoon of Thursday 8 February 2024, Kent Police were called to an area near Northfleet train station where the body of a man was discovered. He was confirmed deceased at the scene.

Formal identification has not yet taken place, however the family of an 82-year-old man from Reading who was last seen in Kent on Thursday 18 January has been informed. The death is not currently being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
