Police in Thanet have charged three men after building materials were reportedly stolen from two addresses in the Thanet area.
On Friday 1 March 2024, it is alleged that scrap metal and heating equipment was stolen from a property on Stone Road in Broadstairs.
On Wednesday 3 April, building materials were reportedly taken from inside an address on Cross Road in Birchington.
An investigation by Kent Police officers led to the arrests of three men aged 23,31 and 33 on Friday 5 April. The 23-year-old, was later charged with conspiracy to steal, driving without a licence and driving without insurance. The 31 and 33-year-olds were charged with conspiracy to steal.
The three suspects, all from Margate, were remanded to appear before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Monday 8 April.
