Officers from Dover’s Victim Based Crime Team have charged a man over a reported disturbance in Dover.

Kent Police arrived at a premises on Pencester Road at 6.28pm on Thursday 4 April 2024, following a report that staff had been spoken to in an abusive manner.

A sign had also been damaged. Officers arrested a man alleged to have assaulted two police officers.

On Friday 5 April, a 39-year-old man was charged with criminal damage, two counts of assault on an emergency worker, racially aggravated public order and two other public order offences. The man of no fixed address, was remanded to appear before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 8 May 2024.
